ERYC Latest Covid-19 Business Support Update

From Monday 15 June, all non-essential retail shops are allowed to reopen in England, provided they follow government guidelines to keep staff and customers as safe as possible. This update includes a document, published by the Government, to help employers, employees and the self employed in the UK understand how to work safely during the COVID-19 pandemic.
East Riding Of Yorkshire Council would also like to inform you that the deadline for the Local Discretionary Grant Scheme has been extended to Sunday 21 June.
Local Discretionary Grant Scheme
The scheme is aimed at those small and micro business as well as charities who have so far not qualified for Government funding during the COVID-19. The Government-backed discretionary grant scheme is being operated by East Riding of Yorkshire Council and will potentially enable those businesses and charities who have suffered a significant loss of income during the lockdown and unable to access other forms of financial support, the opportunity to apply for grants of up to £25,000.
