Latest Business Support From East Riding Of Yorkshire Council - 19/01/21

East Riding Of Yorkshire Council are pleased to provide our latest Covid-19 business support update.
Don’t forget that businesses across the East Riding looking for advice and guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic, or for any other general business support enquiries can contact our business support team. Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed Businesses)
On 4 January 2021 it was announced that we enter national lockdown, by law, from 6 January 2021. The Government provided guidance on 13 January 2021 about the eligibility criteria for the scheme, and we are now in the process of determining eligible businesses, and will make payments automatically. Reopening High Streets Safely Fund to offer interactive support to town centre businesses
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is offering free online business support workshops –delivered by retail specialists – for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) based in town centres across the East Riding. The workshops aim to help improve resilience and grow sales during these challenging times, focusing on actions which can allow businesses to continue trading and improving despite closed premises.

Future Net Zero Survey
The Aura Innovation Centre, led by the University of Hull, is inviting Humber SMEs and organisations to take part in a short survey that will look at the economic recovery from the Covid-19 pandemic and how this can be delivered whilst achieving the Government’s ambition for the UK to be net zero on carbon emissions by 2050. This research is highly relevant to all SMEs from all sectors.

Peer Networks Programme
A national peer-to-peer networking programme for SME leaders that want to grow and develop their organisation for future success. It is being delivered locally by the Humber Business Growth Hub, in partnership with the Hull & Humber Chamber of Commerce. Delivered through a series of high impact group sessions, with each cohort led by a trained facilitator.
