Latest Business Support From East Riding Of Yorkshire Council - 16/03/21

East Riding of Yorkshire Coouncil are pleased to provide our latest Covid-19 business support update, which this week includes details about some changes to the business grants available from the council.

Although many businesses have applied for the grants and are continuing to receive support, we are aware that many businesses may still not have applied and may be eligible.

Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed Businesses)
If your business was mandated to close and you are registered for business rates, even if you had 100% rates relief for 2020/2021, you may be eligible for the grant. Businesses who were eligible for the grant in March, will not automatically receive this grant, you need to make an application to receive funding to support you during this latest lockdown period. Check this link to see if you can claim: https://www.eastriding.gov.uk/business/coronavirus-grants-for-businesses-and-charities/local-restrictions-support-grant-closed-businesses/
Do not delay as payments will be closing 31 March 2021.

Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG)
The Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) has been amended and is now open to all applicants who have received Self Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS), have a significant reduction in income and ongoing fixed business related costs and do NOT have employees.
Please note: applications close on 31 March 2021

East Riding of Yorkshire Council urges residents to take part in its Covid-19 vaccine survey
East Riding of Yorkshire Council is asking residents to complete its COVID-19 vaccine survey. The short survey should take around five minutes to complete online and features a range of multiple choice questions. Over 1,000 residents have already completed the survey and the findings will be used by the council’s public health team to learn more about how residents feel about the COVID-19 vaccines. This in turn will be used to target communications from the council about the vaccine:
