Latest Business Support From East Riding Of Yorkshire Council - 22/03/21
East Riding Of Yorkshire Council are pleased to provide their latest Covid-19 business support update. This once again includes information about two grants available from the council, as the closing date is approaching.
There has been some confusion around applying for the Local Restrictions Support Grant – please note businesses who were eligible for the grant in March 2020, are required to make a new application to receive funding to support you during the latest lock down period. If you have already applied from November 2020 onwards and are receiving payments, you are not required to make another claim.
Don’t forget that businesses across the East Riding looking for advice and guidance during the COVID-19 pandemic, or for any other general business support enquiries can contact our business support team. You can contact them by email: email@example.com and they will respond as quickly as possible.
Local Restrictions Support Grant (Closed Businesses)
If your business was mandated to close and you are registered for business rates, even if you had 100% rates relief for 2020/2021, you may be eligible for the grant. Businesses who were eligible for the grant in March 2020, will not automatically receive this grant as an application was required to receive funding to support you during the latest lockdown period. If you have not applied for LRGS, do not delay as payments will be closing on 31st March 2021. Check this link to see if you can claim: https://www.eastriding.gov.uk/business/coronavirus-grants-for-businesses-and-charities/local-restrictions-support-grant-closed-businesses/
If you have already applied from November 2020 onwards and are receiving payments, you are not required to make another claim.
Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG)
The Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) has been amended and is now open to all applicants who have received Self Employment Income Support Scheme (SEISS), have a significant reduction in income and ongoing fixed business related costs and do NOT have employees.
Please note: applications close on 31 March 2021
