Latest Business Support From East Riding Of Yorkshire Council - 16/11/20

We are pleased to provide our latest Covid-19 business support update. This week it includes updates on the Local Authority grants available during the new local and national restrictions.


Local Restriction Support Grant (Closed Businesses)
The Government has announced funding to help support businesses that are required to close under national lock down restrictions from 5 November 2020.

Additional Restrictions Grants (ARG) scheme
Local Authorities have been provided with funding to support businesses that have been severely affected by the lockdown restrictions, including those who are not on the business rates list.

Claim for wages through the Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme
The Coronavirus Job Retention Scheme is being extended until 31 March 2021.
30 November 2020 is the last day employers can submit or change claims for periods ending on or before 31 October 2020.
