Visit East Yorkshire Tourism Updates - 18/12/20

The final newsletter of 2020 from Visit East Yorkshire includes information on Updated Tier Posters, the VAT survey, and how you can still see a Pantomime in 2020. We hope you’ve been finding the newsletters informative and useful over the last couple of months and we look forward to being in touch again in 2021.

We’d like to wish all of our partners, East Yorkshire businesses and supporters a Merry Christmas and a Happy, Healthy New Year.

Lobster Webinar
The webinar is based on a study was commissioned in 2018 to look in detail at the local lobster industry and ways in which the economic value of this prestige product could be maximised.
This webinar will provide the opportunity to learn more about the findings of the study and how Bridlington Bay lobster can be used to promote the town as a food tourism destination and, in doing so, also benefit the fishing industry by raising awareness of the product at a national and international level.

Tourist Information Centres
In line with continuing under Tier 3 restrictions, Tourist Information Centres remain closed and the staff are continuing to work from home during normal centre hours.

Alongside other projects, staff are available to answer enquiries on the phone and via email.
Phone lines and emails will not be monitored from the close of play on 24th December until 4th January 2021.

Updated Tier Posters
Posters for each tier have been updated to include all of the new changes, they can be viewed and downloaded here. These are an excellent quick reference guide for keeping both staff and customers aware of the rules in their area.
