Visit East Yorkshire Tourism Update

Beverley Tourist Information Centre would like to know if you are reopening your business please get in touch with them and let them know. They will be launching a digital campaign soon ‘Be a Local Tourist’ aimed at encouraging everyone in Hull and East Yorkshire to discover or rediscover what’s on their doorstep, so do let them know if you’re open and what visitors could expect.

They are now able to add certified Covid schemes to business entries on the website. Please email a copy of your certificate or award and they can update your entry for you. The schemes are as follows:

The AA Covid Confident scheme is free and open to all hotels; B&Bs, guest accommodation, restaurants with rooms and pubs with rooms; self-catering properties; camping, glamping and holiday parks; hostels; serviced apartments; visitor attractions; restaurants; pubs; and golf courses. The VisitEngland scheme is open to any business in the ‘tourism industry’. The “We’re Good To Go” industry standard mark is a self-assessment scheme that has been designed by VisitEngland in partnership with the national tourist organisations Tourism Northern Ireland, VisitScotland and Visit Wales to provide a ‘ring of confidence’ for all sectors of the tourism industry, as well as reassurance to visitors that businesses have clear processes in place and are following industry and Government COVID-19 guidance on cleanliness and social distancing.
